I accept credit card, cash and check.
Do you offer reduced fees?
I maintain a limited number of appointments at a reduced rate for clients who meet the criteria for financial hardship (this means that your household income is less than $45,000 per year, adjust $500 for each addition child in the household) and your insurance does not reimburse for mental health services.
These sessions are limited and are given on a first come, first served basis. Due to the demand for this appointments and in order to serve the most clients possible, I reserve the right to end this agreement, should you miss two appointments without prior arrangement.
What is the cancellation/No-show policy?
You are required to cancel appointments to give at least 24 hours in advance notice. If you do not show up for your scheduled appointment, you will be charged the full cost of the session. You have the possibility of having a set appointment on a week to week basis, or you can schedule your appointment each week a time that is convenient to you. Should you miss more than two appointments or forfeit your scheduled time for more than two weeks without notice, the counselor reserves the right to give this time slot to someone else.
Do you accept insurance?
I am an out network provider for most insurance companies, which means that I do not bill insurances directly, but you may be eligible for reimbursement through your out-of network benefits. The first step would be to call you insurance company and ask if their plan covers out-of-network mental health providers and what they need in order for them to reimburse the client for these services. I can provide you with receipt to give to your insurance carrier.
